Built to our specs by King Off-Road Racing Shocks, these multi-tube bypass shocks feature Carli-specific pistons, shafts, and valving to deliver confident performance over the most challenging off-road terrain. Bypass shocks utili ze external tubes to create a shock with multiple compression zones. Typically, there will be a tube bordering the compression zone at ride height that will allow fluid to freely move around the piston giving a supple ride. Once uneven ground is encountered, the piston will move upward closing off t he port, thereby forcing all fluid through the valving which substantially increases the shock’s resistance in this secondary zone. The tubes (one for compression, one for rebound) are fitted with one-way check valves and feature damping adjustment for fine tuning. Bypass style shocks are ideal fo r rigs that run at high speeds over rough terrain where they must endure repeated long travel, fast piston speed, high intensity suspension events.
